Introduction


This blog is to keep friends and family up to date about our Group Study Exchange (GSE) to Poland May 8th-June 6th. Team members include (from left to right) Renee Sedlacek a Service-Learning Coordinator from Waverly, John Hall a banker from North Liberty, Kim Koenigs, Executive Director of Worth County Development Authority from Northwood, Ralph Smith (team leader) a lawyer from Charles City, & Bryan Zgmont a professor from Dubuque.


The Rotary Foundation’s Group Study Exchange (GSE) is a unique cultural and vocational exchange opportunity for businesspeople and professionals between the ages of 25 and 40 who are in the early stages of their careers. The program provides travel grants for teams to exchange visits in paired areas of different countries. During our one month we will be visitng various Rotary Clubs to exchange conversation and culture. We will travel to Warsaw, Zamosc, Krakow, Auschwitz, & Rzeszow among other cities and making various trouist and vocational stops along the way. We'll try to keep you as up to date as time and wifi capabilities allow! Thanks for following us along the way :)
